Built from AISI 1045 Carbon Steel, these sprockets cover chain sizes 2040/C2040, 2042/C2042, 2050/C2050, 2052/C2052, 2060/C2060, 2062/C2062, 2080/C2080, 2082/C2082 with pitch range 1″ to 2″ (double standard pitch). Available configurations include Type A (plate), Type B (one hub), Type C (two hubs). Every unit is CNC-machined to ANSI B29.1 tolerances and undergoes 100% dimensional inspection before shipping.

What is the difference between standard roller and carrier roller double pitch chains?
Standard roller (e.g., 2040) uses standard-size rollers matching the base chain. Carrier roller (e.g., 2042) uses larger rollers that protrude above the side plates, designed to carry products directly on the chain.
Can I use a standard-pitch sprocket with double-pitch chain?
No. Double-pitch chains have twice the pitch of their standard equivalent, so standard sprockets will not engage correctly.
What tooth counts are available?
Typically 9T to 30T, depending on the series. Lower tooth counts provide compact driver sprockets.
Are these suitable for incline conveyors?
Yes, when used with appropriate chain attachments. For steep inclines, consider adding cleats or flights to the chain.
How do I distinguish 2040 from C2040?
The C prefix denotes a cottered (riveted) chain construction, commonly used in conveyor applications. Both use the same sprocket.

- Assembly: Place the bushing into the sprocket hub, align the bolt holes, and finger-tighten the cap screws.
- Positioning: Slide the assembly onto the shaft to the desired axial position.
- Tightening: Torque cap screws evenly in a star pattern to the manufacturer’s specified value.
- Verification: Spin the shaft by hand and verify free rotation. Check alignment with a straight edge or laser.
